The first ones have been announced all the Spanish films that will be screened in the next edition of the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
To the films already announced a little over a month ago, "The artist and the model" by Fernando Trueba, "The impossible" by Juan Antonio Bayona, "Snow White" by Pablo Berger and "The dead and being happy" by Javier Rebollo, is added to the Official Section of this 60th edition of the San Sebastian Festival, Eduard Cortés's film «Robbery!», although yes, the new film by the director of «The Pelayos» will be out of competition.
The screening of the Italian film «Volver a nacer» by Sergio Castellitto has also been announced in this Official Selection, a film that features the participation of the Spanish actress Penélope Cruz.
In the section of New Directors Three Spanish films will be screened. one of them is "Animal", a debut by Marçal Forés. Miguel Ángel Jiménez will also arrive at the contest, who already participated in the contest, in this same section, in 2009 with his debut film "Ori", on this occasion he will present "Chaika". And finally, David Valero will also present his feature film debut, the documentary «The Incredibles».
In the section Zabaltegui Specials You will be able to see "Baztan", the first film by Iñaki Elizalde, "Bypass", the second film by Aitor Mazo and Patxo Telleria, "Operación E" by Miguel Courtois, director of films such as "El Lobo" or "GAL", "Zuloak" musician and director Fermin Muguruza and the Spanish production "7 days in Havana" shot by seven different directors, including the Spanish Julio Medem.
