Ron Wood announces Rolling Stones summer tour

Rolling Stones 50 Counting

Next summer the Rolling Stones They will continue with their most recent tour, offering concerts in different cities of the United States, as Ron Wood announced a few days ago. In an interview offered to Billboard Wood magazine, he made this news known, assuring that the group's last tour, '50 & Counting ', had not yet concluded. It should be remembered that this tour was interrupted after the tragic death of L'Wren Scott in March 2014.

The tour 50 & Counting began five years after their last tour, when the Rolling Stones decided to return to the stage in the fall of 2012 to commemorate their 50th anniversary, a tour that was originally planned to take place in some cities around the world, but which then lasted for more time.

Ron Wood revealed to Billboard: “Yes, we have had a meeting in New York and we are going to North America again in the summer. We are very satisfied with the way the music is coming out on this tour, I think better than ever before. In addition, it is becoming easier for everyone to go on tour, since we have freer schedules than we used to ». The legendary guitarist did not elaborate on dates or cities of the North American tour, nor did he comment on the collaborators who will participate with the band taking into account the recent death of his saxophonist, Bobby Keys, in December of last year.
