Last Tuesday (18) the Rolling Stones officially announced the suspension of all the dates of their current Australian and New Zealand tour after the news of the alleged suicide of designer L'Wren Scott, Mick Jagger's girlfriend since 2001.
The British band on Monday had decided to postpone the first of their concerts from the Australian leg of the tour '14 on Fire ', which was scheduled for Wednesday 19 in Perth (far west of Australia), and they already anticipated that it was not clear yet if the rest of the tour would be affected, a fact that was finally confirmed when they indicated from their official website that they regretted deeply announce the suspension of the rest of the tour.
Therefore the seven concerts that were scheduled between March 19 to April 5 were suspended until further notice, and in the statement issued by the group they informed their fans that they would not go ahead with the tour as planned in Perth, and that there was no more information at the moment, so they asked the ticket holders to keep the same until there was more news. In the statement, the members of the British band thanked the support of the fans before the unexpected death of the sentimental partner of their leader and hoped that they understood the reasons for this decision.
