Robin Williams will be in charge of giving life to the thirtieth president of the United States Dwight D. Eisenhower in the film "The Butler" by Lee Daniels.
The director who rose to fame for the drama "Precious", Lee Daniels, has chosen Williams to join the great cast of his next project "The Butler", a film that will not focus, far from it, on the life of the president.
«The Butler»Will bring to the big screen the life of Eugene Allen, a White House butler for more than thirty years who served up to eight presidents, including Eisenhower.
Eugene allen, who died just over two years ago, at the age of 90, in addition to serving Eisenhower, did so during the terms of John Fitzgeral Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and part of the years that Ronald Reagan was in power.
Robin Williams thus joins the film's star-studded cast, including the presence of performers such as two-time Academy Award winner Jane Fonda or two Oscar winners Forest Whitaker and Cuba Gooding Jr.
Williams returns to work with this film after three years without appearing on screen due to his health problems that led him to the operating table.
