Rihanna record: the singing brunette became the greatest digital sales artist in history, ahead of the Black Eyed Peas and the rapper Eminem, according to data compiled by the consulting firm Nielsen.
The 23-year-old girl accumulated since April 2004 a total of 47,5 million downloads of their songs, that is 5,1 million more than Black Eyed Peas.
Meanwhile, Eminem obtained 42,3 million downloads during the same period, while Lady Gaga it is fourth with 42 million singles. Fifth the blonde appears Taylor Swift, with 41,8 million of its songs sold online.
The most downloaded song on the Internet legally since 2004 was "I Gotta Feeling" of the Black Eyes Pies, with 7,6 million downloads, surpassing Lady Gaga and her "Poker Face" and "Just Dance", which obtained 6,5 and 6,4 million downloads respectively.
And the best-selling album digitally? '21' of Adele, which recorded 1,8 million downloads online.
