I had already commented here a long time ago that the director Peter Jackson will begin shooting his next film in October, The Lovely Bones (The translation they have done is From my Heaven, touch your eggs), a film adaptation of the homonymous novel written by Alice sebold.
Well, it was just confirmed in a news flash that Rachel Weisz is going to be the protagonist of this film, giving life to the mother of a teenager who has been kidnapped and who is feared may have been murdered.
The last thing he had seen of Weisz was The Fountain, who directed his (I think) partner, the great but somewhat eclectic Darren aranofsky, and the truth is that I liked it a lot. We will see how it turns out in the role of mother courage.
