The film will be directed by Kevin Macdonald ("The Last King of Scotland") and will be will premiere in the second half of 2008. The action will take place in Washington. Norton will be Stephen Collins, a congressman who sees how his political career could be cut short after the murder of his lover. Meanwhile, Pitt will play Cal McCaffrey, a journalist who will investigate the case.
