First official look at Benedict Cumberbatch in 'Doctor Strange'

On April 29, 2016, one of the most anticipated films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be released: 'Captain America: Civil War' and Phase 3 will begin with it. After the premiere of this great blockbusters, in which Captain America and Iron Man lead a conflict with the disintegrated Avengers fueled by the Sokovia Accords, 'Doctor Strange' will be released: on October 28, 2016.

Until now we did not have much visual material of the film, however, recently Entertainment Weekly just released the first official look at Stephen Vincent Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch. 

Those who know the Marvel Universe minimally will know that Doctor Strange is the greatest sorcerer of the North American publisher, which implies that expectations with the film are very high. According to official synopsis the plot will follow the story of neurosurgeon Stephen Strange, who, after a terrible traffic accident, discovers the hidden world of magical dimensions ...

The film, which is directed by Scott Derrickson, began filming in November, which will last until March 2016. Although there is still much to know and reveal, we can finally see, the protagonist characterized in the purest style of Stephen Strange, about to cast one of his complex spells and with the Eye of Agamotto in the cloak, a magical instrument of clairvoyance of the Sorcerer. Benedict, who was not very familiar with typical spell gestures (normal), reported: I'm still working on it. We haven't shot any of those scenes yet. The House of Ideas has confirmed that among the cast we will find Benedict Cumberbatch leading the evolution of history as the protagonist, playing the famous Sorcerer Supreme Stephen Vincent Strange. Although the roles that other actors in the cast will play are not entirely clear, it is believed that Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo, Rachel McAdams as Night Nurse, Tilda Swinton as the Elder and Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West.
