Years of Refusal, the new album by the ex-leader of the Smiths originally promoted for this next september, has been postponed until the beginning of next year according to the artist's publicist.
So far no explanation has been given for this surprising date change.
This new album by Morrissey, compound 12 songs, has been produced by the same person who helped him in his predecessor of the 2004, You Are The Quarry, Jerry finn. It has emerged that one of the possible causes of this delay is the stroke that the latter suffered last month and that still keeps him hospitalized in the city of Los Angeles.
Years of Refusal it will be the artist's first job with the label Polydor and it is presumed that it will follow the musical trail left by the Ringleader of the Tormentors (2006), the same one that sold more than 95000 copies only in the United States.
