With a late entry, as the production works have started months ago, Monica Belluci has started acting the opening scenes of The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Based on the classic Fantasia play, The Sorcerer's Apprentice is destined to be one of the big movie premieres of the coming year, and to break the box office worldwide. The movie will be Directed by Jon Turteltaub and will be set in the current city of Manhattan.
The cast includes Nicolas Cage, like a master sorcerer teaching the occult arts to his young disciple, played by Jay Baruchel. They will also act Toby Kebbell as the counterpart of Cage's character, and Alfred Molina, also on the side of the bad guys. For its part, Monica belluci She will play Veronica, a sorceress who will make the main magician fall in love; and Theresa Palmer will do the same with Baruchel.
El Filming is taking place in New York, with production by Walt Disney Pictures, and its world premiere is scheduled for on July 16, 2010.
