The highly anticipated new film by Michael Mann will have another actor of international caliber such as Christian Bale in its cast, in addition to the fabulous Johnny Depp. Filming will begin in March and will be released in 2009, so for now, we will have to wait a bit.
To open your mouth and discover things about the film, it must be said that it will be titled Public Enemies and tell the story of John Dillinger, played by Depp, the mythical gangster who was chased by the also legendary FBI agent, Melvin Purvis. To some it will remind you of the masterpiece of the same director (Heat), although you do not have to travel so much through time to discover a film with a similar plot, I am talking about American Gangster, although yes, I do not think it can be compared with the direction of Mann.
We expect two things from this film, Johnny Depp winning an Oscar for his leading role and Michael Mann receiving praise as a teacher because he has returned to make a masterpiece of the seventh, although lately little valued art.
