Metallica, together with Run-DMC y The Stooges, lead the list of artists candidates to be included next year in the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
Only five will be chosen in the month of January for its subsequent consecration, which will take place next April 4.
The rest of this year's nominees are Jeff Beck, Chic, Wanda jackson, Little Anthony And The Imperials, War y Bobby womack.
The 2009 ceremony will be open to the public for the first time and will take place in the city of Cleveland, something that had not happened since the year 1997.
Madonna, John mellencamp, Leonard Cohen, The Ventures y The Dave Clark, they were already included in this Hall last spring.
