As the legendary rock band announced a few weeks ago, Metallica released new material during their presentations in South American cities. Metallica seems to go back down the path of new bands presenting new songs on their tours, and this could be seen in the middle of the show presented in Bogota (Colombia) when the group premiered 'Lords of Summer'.
On the afternoon of last Thursday (20) the group released the official demo while they were performing in Lima (Peru) and also later published an official video on their YouTube channel (Metallica TV) of the Bogota presentation. 'Lords of Summer' Apparently it will be part of his next album, which will be the successor to 'Death Magnetic', his last studio album in 2008, discounting the concept album 'Lulu', recorded with Lou Reed and released in October 2011.
A few months ago Metallica launched an original initiative for the South American tour, when it asked fans to go to the shows that they chose by voting in advance the songs they wanted to hear in the presentations. The tour was launched with the name 'Metallica by Request Tour' (Metallica on Demand), in which fans have chosen the seventeen songs they are performing in South America these days, among which are: Master of Puppets, One, Enter Sandman, Fade to Black, Seek and Destroy, Nothing Else Matters, The Unforgiven, Battery and For Whom the Bell Tolls.
