El Former member of the remembered Dire Straits, continues his solo career with editing your sixth studio album, titled Get Lucky.
The release date is set for September 15 next, and will be published under the multinational label Universal. The theme chosen to promote the material is the same that gives its name to the album, and it is already being rotated on the radio a few days ago. For the eager fans, the first single is now available to listen to on Knopfler's official site.
Get Lucky, the successor to Kill to Get Crimson, from 2007, was recorded at British Grove Studios in London and was co-produced with Chuck Ainlay and Guy Fletcher. In the new album you can clearly see the musical influences that Knopfler nurtured as a young man, closely linked with folk and blues.
The singer and guitarist will take to Spain his more than 10 years of solo career, on a tour that will have its highest peak in the presentation at the Royal Albert Hall in London.s, scheduled for early June next year
