Marilyn Manson breaks away from violent video with Lana del Rey

Sturmgruppe Manson King

An apparent video of the song Marilyn Manson's 'Sturmgruppe' leaked a few days ago on the internet. The video caused a stir on social networks since it featured a brutal scene in which the singer Lana del Rey appears being raped. Directed by Eli Roth (Hostel) in 2013, the video shows scenes from a party that ends up becoming a riot. This before the scene appears in which the well-known singer is attacked and raped by a man (who is not Marilyn Manson). Shot in slow motion, it makes the controversial rape scene even more disturbing.

"The video is so sick, it has been locked away for a year"Eli Roth himself confessed in an interview with Larry King in October last year. The clip, only two and a half minutes long, begins with Marilyn Manson sitting at a kitchen table, accompanied by a group of girls. Suddenly, the room is invaded by a strange force that sends the table thrown into the air. In a later sequence, it appears Lana Del Rey in a room of the house, next to a man who tries to sexually abuse her.

Days after the controversial video was released, Marilyn Manson's representative, Kathryn Frazier, issued a statement separating Marilyn Manson from this production: “Manson did not produce, nor film, nor is this a video made for Marilyn Manson or a scene filmed for that song. This clip was made by a fan with old footage shot by Manson and reissued with footage shot for Lana Del Rey.
