Hugh Grant returns to romantic comedy in his fourth collaboration with Marc Lawrence.
The magazine fotogramas in its digital edition has announced the Hugh Grant's fourth collaboration with director Marc Lawrence, in the filming of a new romantic comedy, which is scheduled to shoot in April 2013. Grant and Lawrence had already worked together on such commercial genre titles as: 'Love with notice', 'You the lyrics, I the music' and 'What happened to the Morgans?'.
The film, which will be produced by Martin Shafer and Liz Glotzer for Castle Rock Entertainment, will tell the story of a former Oscar-winning screenwriter in low hours trying to meet again, and earn a living, as a writing professor at a small university. There, our man will cross his path with that of a student, a single mother.
About his friend Hugh Grant, Lawrence recently stated that “we have the same language, we both see life in a depressing way and we face it with humor".
Hugh Grant who hadn't been in front of the cameras since 2009, he has just participated in 'The Atlas of the Clouds', the experiment co-directed by Tom Tykwer and brothers Andy and Lana Wachowski, in which he plays six different characters and shares a cast with Tom Hanks, Halle Berry, Jim Sturgess and Hugo Weaving.
