Joy Division,

¿Joy Division, , Oasis, The Stones Roses y The Smiths together? Indeed, they will be protagonists of a new book whose central theme will be the last thirty years in the musical life of the city of Manchester.

The North Will Rise Again: Manchester Music City 1978-2008, written by the journalist and leader of the gold blade John robb, already has a publication date: the next April 28.

Morrissey, Ian Brown, Christmas y Liam Gallagher, mark e smith (leader of the remembered group The Fall), Johnny Marr, Shaun ryder (belonging to the Happy mondays) Y Tony wilson (ex-head of Factory records), are just some of the artists who have contributed to the elaboration of the text.

"I have spoken with practically everyone. In fact, the biggest problem has been reducing all the information to an acceptable size. The book is roughly 155000 words long, but it could easily have doubled it… Ian Brown alone gave me 30000 words to work with!"He explained Robb.
