London boulevard will mark the debut of the screenwriter of Departed, William Monahan as director of Hollywood. In its opera prima, it will have the presence of two of the biggest stars of the Hollywood current, the english Keira Knightley and the Irish-born Golden Globe-winning actor, Colin Farrell.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ken bruen, inspired in turn by Sunset Boulevard, the classic that in 1950 directed the unforgettable Billy Wilder. The story will focus on a crime drama in which the characters of Knightley y Farrell they will cross each other by chance.
Farrell will play a South London gangster who, after being released from prison, tries to leave behind the world in which he was immersed, and gets a job as a repairman in the house of an actress with serious social problems, personified by Keira Knightley. As is to be expected, the ex-convict will help her with her problem and both characters will begin an increasingly close relationship.
The movie of William Monah, who was also a screenwriter for Crusades (Kingdom of Heaven), will have production of Graham king for GK Films and will premiere this summer in London.
