British vocalist Kate Bush will return to offer a fifteen-date tour at London's Hammersmith Apollo during August and September of this year. 35 years have passed! since its first and only tour, which took place in April and May 1979. Since then, it has only offered performances on specific occasions (the last 12 years ago), but that will change next European summer.

After being discovered by Pink Floyd's David Gilmour and debuting in 1978 with the album 'The Kick Inside', Bush became a benchmark for art-pop with albums like 'Lionheart' (1979) or 'Never for Ever' (1980). In 2011 he released his tenth album, '50 Words for Snow '. After that last album, Kate Bush admitted to Classic Rock magazine that she hopes to do "some gigs at some point." "Maybe not a whole tour, but do something," he added then.

Kate Bush (Catherine Bush) was born on July 30, 1958 in Bexleyheath, Kent, now part of Greater London. She is a British singer-songwriter and has an expressive voice, capable of reaching a four-octave range, and an eclectic and meticulously musical productive style. He made his debut in 1978 with the single "Wuthering Heights", which was number one on the British music charts for four weeks. It is considered one of the greatest references of pop art.

Artists such as Tori Amos, Rufus Wainwright, Tricky, Björk, Angra, Within Temptation, Placebo or Allison Goldfrapp have shown their admiration for the figure of Kate Bush, one of the pioneers of experimental pop.
