Jethro Tull

Jethro Tull is a English band formed in 1968Since that date the group has not stopped playing, its founding members varying very little. In the 70s it was one of the most famous groups in the world.

His first formation consisted of: Ian Anderson (voice, flute and acoustic guitar), Glenn Cornick (bass), Clive Bunker (drums) and Mick Abrahams (electric guitar). Soon after, the guitarist separated from the group, joining the same Martin Lancelot Barre, who since then (1969) is his first guitar.
From here on, several renowned musicians passed through the band for several of the instruments, but without losing the main and founders of the band.

Jethro Tull makes a very original music, mixing blus, english folk and hard rock, with touches of baroque and renaissance music, very original and pleasant to listen to, they also play a kind of acoustic music that is difficult to classify. The highlight of the sound in the band is the flute of Ian Anderson, which has been one of its unmistakable characteristics, as well as the torn sound of Martin Barre's guitar. For several years they have used keyboardists giving a particular color to the melodies, they have also used lute, mandolin and recorder when the themes have required it, currently they have included a violin played by a young Asian woman, a partner of Ian Anderson.
