Jessie J arrives without many surprises with the new 'Alive'

On September 23, the British singer-songwriter Jessie J released his latest album, 'Alive', the second studio work in his career that represents the return to the music scene after his successful album 'Who You Are' (Island Records), with which he sold more than 2011 million copies worldwide.

'Alive', one of the most anticipated pop albums of this 2013 has been released by his new record label, Republic Records, and in his thirteen songs they have worked an extensive list of renowned producers, such as Dr. Luke (Britney Spears, Rihanna, Pink), Darkchild (Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber), StarGate (Katy Perry, Rita Ora, Beyonce), Claude Kelly, Cirkut or Ammo among others. On 'Alive' Jessie J also shares songs with Becky G, Brandy and rappers Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal.

Some specialized critics called 'Alive' an album without personality, predictable, and full of generic songs somewhat old-fashioned. These criticisms began after the release of the first single, 'Wild', which did not meet expectations as a single presentation. 'It's My Party', the second track from the album released in early September, raised expectations with the style that characterizes the British singer, and her catchy tune managed to debut at No. XNUMX in the UK a few weeks ago.
