The compilation of greatest hits has managed to exceed one million copies sold after the presentation of Jeff Lynne at the last Glastonbury festival at the end of June.
In recent days, 'All Over The World' moved from # 7 to # 1 on the UK chart, achieving its first chart top in 35 years. Previously ELO reached the top of the charts in 1979 with the multi-platinum 'Discovery' and with 'Time' in August 1981. “Thirty-five years between the two number one! I am totally amazed. 'All Over The World - The Very Best Of ELO' is a greatest hits anthology released in June 2005 by Sony Music, and it brings together the main singles of the legendary British band, including 'Don't Bring Me Down', 'Xanadu', 'Hold On Tight', 'Mr. Blue Sky 'or' Confusion ', among others.
