'Jane Got a Gun' is an American western that has been suffering endless ups and downs From the first moment of its production in 2013, Lynne Ramsay was going to be in charge of directing the tape written by Brian Duffield, however she ended up leaving the project on the first day of filming. Jude Law was the next to do it. As if that weren't enough, its distributor, Relativity Media, went bankrupt.

Eventually The Weinstein Co. rescued her and the project ended up being directed by Gavin O'Connor. Although all these changes delayed the project a lot, we can finally see more material for the premiere next year thanks to the new trailer from 'Jane Got a Gun' published by Lionsgate.

In the new trailer we can see all the action that this type of western deserves. To a Jane Hammond (Natalie Portman) enraged by the eight lead bullets her husband Bill (Noah Emmerich) received, one of the most feared villains in the entire city, having revealed himself against his own gang, the Bishop Boys. Although her husband manages to survive, he knows that the gang, led by John Bishop (Ewan McGregor) will soon return, hence Jane decides to take charge of the situation and embark herself in danger. that involves confronting John and his henchmen. The last hope for the family's survival will lie with Jane's old love, Dan Frost (Joel Edgerton), a gunman who hates Bill the same way he loves Jane: a lot.
