Mercury Rev to review their masterpiece "Desert's Songs"

After announcing their first 14 names, Music's day returns with a new batch of confirmations for its seventh edition, which will be held on June 22 and 23 at Matadero Madrid. In the same way, the new prices for the tickets are announced and the day tickets are put on sale, whose prices will remain unchanged until next June 5.

These new confirmations are headed by names of the stature of the British James Blake, which after his brilliant debut last year with his self-titled album has already become a reference in the field of contemporary music thanks to its post-dubstep sound, together with the warm expressiveness of his voice.

Together with him, Mercury Rev, the band led by Jon Donahue, who will perform the songs from their highly acclaimed "Deserter's Songs" entirely live, an album that in 1998 was the album of the year for publications such as NME or MOJO and that next May will be reissued in a 2 cds deluxe version with 13 bonus tracks.

The commit list is expanded with names like Alexander escovedo, who will be accompanied for the first time in Spain by his band The Sensitive Boys; Frankie Rose, former member of Crystal Stilts, Dum Dum Girls and Vivian Girls, who will present her solo debut, Interstellar; or the Irish singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow.

In addition, the Tindersticks cartel is joined by Mr. Chinarro, La Casa Azul, Lee Fields, Zambri, Jane Joyd, Mendetz, The Ettes, and Breton. With these new confirmations, there are already 27 bands and artists that make up the 2012 Music Day poster, among them Love of Lesbian who advance this April 10, the first songs of their long-awaited next album.
