International trailer of the new adaptation of the classic «Great Expectations»

This is the international trailer for the new adaptation of «Great Expectations"(Big hopes), the novel by Charles Dickens, which is directed by Mike Newell (Prince of Persia, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) and starring Ralph Fiennes. The story revolves around an orphan who becomes a distinguished knight through an unknown benefactor.

Jeremy Irvine stars as Pip, Helena Bonham Carter as Miss Havisham and Fiennes himself as Magwitch. The film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month.

«Big hopes»Is a novel written by Charles Dickens that was originally published as a series from December 1, 1860 to August 1861. It is considered one of his greatest and most sophisticated novels, as well as one of the most popular, being this adapted to theatrical and cinematographic works on more than 250 occasions.
