PIt seems that Benicio Del Toro (that piece of actor and I'm not imitating Chiquito de la Calzada) and Halle Berry (that piece of woman) are going to work together for the first time in their careers. The project is called Things we lost in the fire and it is produced by Sam Mendes for DreamWorks (again Spielberg in between), and in addition to Del Toro and Berry it also has David Duchovny (man, with how well we were going up now). It should be remembered that both Del Toro for Traffic, and Berry for Monster Ball, are holders of an Oscar respectively.
It appears to be filming in Vancouver (Canada) starting on Monday August 14 with Danish director Susanne Bier directing on her English debut.
The film, with a script written by fellow newcomer Allan Loeb, is a relationship drama and revolves around a woman (Berry), with two young children, who has just lost her husband (Duchovny) in a fire. Trying to recover, and not to feel alone, she invites her husband's best friend (Del Toro) to live with them for a while. Your presence will help the young woman to rebuild her life. Duchovny will appear in various flash-backs when the two recall various situations they experienced with him. Let's hope they remember him little throughout the film.
