The remake of "Robocop" in the hands of the director who surprised us a few years ago with "Elite Troop" will feature star Gary Oldman, which will play the creator of the "machine."
The character of Oldman has a lot of weight in the film, since at the same time the story of Alex Murphy, played by Joel Kinnaman, a mortally wounded agent, who has to become "Robocop" to save his life and thus continue to protect the streets and incidentally take revenge on who "murdered" him, the story of Norton will also be told as a subplot, a role he plays Gary Oldman, a scientist who will find himself torn between helping the protagonist to rediscover his humanity and keeping him insensitive and ruthless, just as society needs him.
Far Kinnaman and Oldman, are the only ones confirmed in a project that will soon reveal many more things, since it is originally scheduled to shoot for next September. The arrival on the billboard, that if, is not expected until August 2013, so fans of the original film from the 80s by Paul Verhoeven will have to keep waiting to see if the remake is going to be up to the task.
