Back Duran Duran, and apparently, the idea is to return to the characteristic sound of the 80's group. The band is recording their new disco with the fashion producer Mark Ronson during this time.
Ronson himself has said that «Nick is using the synths like he hasn't done since 'Hungry like the wolf'(his success in the 80s). I'm like a fan, it's what I want to hear from a Duran Duran record«.
And the keyboardist commented that «Mark did some DJ mixes for us in Paris last year and he told us about performing live, it worked well, so we talked about recording an album, and so far it's going spectacularly well.«.
Work is expected next year.
