Critics Choose Waltz With Bashir as Best Film of 2008

The Israeli animated documentary Waltz With Bashir was chosen on January 3 as the best film of 2008, according to the annual awards made by the Critics Circle of the United States (National Society of Film Critics).

  • Best screenplay: Happy-Go-Lucky (MikeLeigh).
  • Best Cinematography: Slumdog Millionaire (Anthony Dodd Mantle).
  • Best Experimental Film: Razzle Dazzleby Ken Jacobs.
