«The Master»By Paul Thomas Anderson starts as a favorite of the Chicago Critics Awards with ten nominations, including best film and best director.
The second film with the most nominations for these awards is Benh Zeitlin's debut film «Beasts of the Southern Wild»With nine, although he is only up for eight awards since his actors Quvenzhané Wallis and Dwight Henry coincide in the category of best revelation performer.
«Lincoln»Is another of the great favorites, also competing for eight awards, including those for best film and best director for Steven Spielberg.
The other two films that compete for the two main awards are «Zero Dark Thirty»Which obtained seven nominations and«Argon»Who is left with only five.
