The home in which Charles Chaplin spent the last 25 years of his life will be turned into a museum. The enclosure will have a movie theater with capacity for 200 people, countless exhibitions, a stage, a shop and a restaurant.
In addition, on the occasion of the 30 years of his death, starting this month in Barcelona (Spain) and Cartagena (Colombia) various tributes to this great comedian who in his time achieved success thanks to his good acting skills in comedy and that he has managed to create many icons of reference.
In Barcelona since this month of December, more than 300 materials have been placed, including photographs, posters, magazines and films that recall the life and work of the actor. It will remain until April 27, 2008.
In Colombia, today, as part of the Cartagena Film Festival, the actor is paid tribute through a contest that will reward the person who best imitates him.
