Casey Affleck will produce and star in "Boston Strangler."
Ben Affleck's little brother, Casey affleck, don't let Ben's fame intimidate you and has been building a career as a performer more leisurely than his brother but just as solid. We have seen him as an antagonist of Brad Pitt in 'The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', or as a policeman in 'Goodbye, little goodbye', or in the skin of a psychopath in 'The Demon Under the Skin'.
And now the detective outfit will be donned again in 'boston strangler', a film that he will produce for Warner Bros Pictures, in addition to starring, and that will revolve around a serial killer from the 60s.
'Boston Strangler' will follow the police squad that hunted down the Boston Strangler in 1960, a serial killer who killed about fourteen women with that method. The script for the film has been assigned to Chuck Maclean, who, according to Deadline, will explain this story from the perspective of an ambitious detective (Affleck) capable of risking his career and his own life to find the murderer.
