It's kind of edifying to see Cameron Diaz playing a role in a horror movie, so I think I'll watch this one. Is about The Box, a movie that is going to roll richard kelly, the great director who made Donnie Darko, and of which we have not seen the original Southland tales because they haven't released it (and I'm doubting they will).
The argument of The Box is simple but it seems attractive, a woman (Díaz) receives a mysterious box from a foreign man, who when he gives it to her tells her that depending on the buttons he touches, a number of things can happen to him. Imagine more or less what can happen next, obviously the woman will end up touching the buttons of the box and ... up to here I can read as Mayra Gomez Kemp said.
The story is based on a short story by Richard Matheson, the same one who wrote I Am Legend, which we will be able to see in the cinema shortly with Will Smith as the only man on the face of the earth (a while ago I put the trailer here)
