Björk's mouth in the video clip for "Mouth Mantra"

Björk Mouth Mantra

Since this past summer he surprised with the cancellation of the last stage of the 'Vulnicura' tour, the only news that has come about Björk has been those referring to her participation in movements against climate change and a little more. It was today that a new video clip has appeared on his YouTube channel, this time belonging to the eighth track from his album 'Vulnicura': 'Mouth Mantra'.

In 'Mouth Mantra' Björk told the story of her throat operation, an intervention that she had to undergo a few years ago, and for which she was forced to suspend part of the tour to present 'Biophilia', being one of the concerts suspended in Spain (Primavera Sound).

The video clip for 'Mouth Mantra', dealing with what the song is about, shows us the inside of Björk's mouth. From an almost kaleidoscopic point of view, as we have seen so many times in Björk's video clips, the images twist and convulse to the rhythm of the music, adding to this several sequences of the artist dancing madly, in that way that we liked so much in his young years and of which he had us quite unaccustomed for a long time. The video clip for 'Mouth Mantra' has been directed by Jesse Kanda, known for his work alongside FKA Twigs and Arca.

Björk, after having canceled the remainder of her 'Vulnicura' tour last August without giving explanations, announced that work is already on his next album, which we hope will be the necessary point and apart after that very complicated -and musically enormous- trip that has been 'Vulnicura', of which its acoustic version, 'Vulnicura Strings', went on sale last November. in digital download, CD and vinyl, and that came after the 'remix series' of it.
