Alanis Morissette brings Jagged Little Pill to Broadway

In 1995, one of the most successful albums of recent years was released, a title winning thanks to the 33 million copies it sold around the world. The person responsible for such success was an Alanis Morissette who was no longer willing for her career to continue on the dance-pop side: "I was not going to stop until I composed an album that expressed who I was as a human being." They were from those desire to change where he was born 'Jagged Little Pill', an album that, at now 20 years old, continues to maintain all its strength.

Alanis Morissette is preparing the passage of all the songs on the album to a new musical for the Broadway stages. Alanis is working alongside composer Tom Kitt, who was also in charge of the Green Day musical 'American Idiot', and which Alanis herself believes "He used the compositions from 'American Idiot' very beautifully".

Alanis has made a statement to Billboard in which he talked about how the creation of the new musical is going and the approach that it will have: «We are in the initial stages, so I cannot anticipate anything, but it's going to be a fictionalized story. We will add songs and change some things ».
