The sequel to the movie 300 continues to advance and now they have changed the title that it initially had from 300: Battle of ArtemisBy 300: Rise of an Empire, which would come to be something like 300: The Birth of an Empire.
In the film Xerxes is a king who after the death of his father seeks to achieve divinity by fighting a warrior from Athens named Temitocles. The plot places us for several years where the high point is the battle of Artemis, back in 480 BC.
Gerard Butler could reprise the role of Leonidas and we could even see Rodrigo Santoro in the role of Xerxes, although in the case of Butler, his appearance will be framed in another time period.
The release date for this new installment is scheduled for August 2, 2013 and will have a 3D format so that lovers of films of this genre can enjoy more, if possible, the adventures of these warriors.
