A few weeks that Bruce Springsteen launched his live music download site, the popular American musician announced the publication of one of his most memorable performances, a legendary concert that he offered at The Agora theater in Cleveland (Ohio, USA) on August 9, 1978. This concert was broadcast live by the radio station WMMS, being one of the five of that tour that served as the launching of the album 'Darkness on the Edge of Town', presentations that were also broadcast by radio at that time.
This concert was recorded and numerous pirated editions of it were made, a record that had been highly sought after by fans for years, as it was one of the best Springsteen and E Street Band concerts recorded. This is the first officially released archival version of this concert which is now released with impeccable sound quality thanks to the stereo mixing of all seven 1/4 inch channels saved by the concert engineer, Toby Scott. This legendary concert is now available to download from the live.brucespringsteen.net site in mp3, FLAC, HD-Audion format and from next January 23rd in physical format (CD).
